Two Nights by Kathy Reichs

3.0

Kathy Reichs is back with a  new protagonist and far away from the world of Bones. Sunnie is ex-army and ex-police and is recruited to track down a girl thought to have died in a bombing but yet her grandmother believes her to have been kidnapped. It's very American PI and yet again a detective with such a depressing back story. I liked it but didn't feel like it offered anything new. I couldn't connect with the lead character at all and I personally need that to enjoy a story.

It's quite a fast paced book and the chapters are short (always a win for me) but I think in this instance it's just not one that I could fully enjoy
