I really liked this book a lot! I enjoyed the adventure that Finnikin and Isoboe were on. I liked the world, I liked the relationships, I thought all the parts out together were fine so well. There is some violence in this book, more graphic than I expected but honestly it felt right in how this tale was to be told. I am really looking forward to the next one and hope that more of the world is described. One of the things that I enjoyed the most about this book was how characters developed over time. I think it was really well done.
