Overall I thought this book was ok. The story was intriguing. I ended up figuring out the twists, which is fine, I generally do with mysteries.
I think, personally, my biggest issue with this book is that I didn't end up connecting with any of the characters. I didn't really find anyone that likable and I felt like there was very little even given to us about Avery as a character and so she fell pretty flat for me. The only character I really loved was Xander and he was hardly in the book at all. So yeah, overall, this is a fun and face paced read which I enjoyed but was left wishing for more in terms of character development.
