The Baker's Son: The Dough Also Rises by Bert Cala
3.0
This was a short fairly easy read. The premise was typical political fantasy but this one had a unique style. There wasn't a lot of set up and things seemed a bit disjointed. There also seemed to be pieces left out. It was fast paced to the point of almost being rushed. I feel like some parts could have been fleshed out a little more. I enjoyed the characters and many of the story elements. It felt kind of King Arthur meets Back to the Future part 3. Medieval meets the wild west with some steampunk and fantastical creatures thrown in. Over all it was a good story with potential.
