Saving Wishes by G. J. Walker-Smith

4.0

For a free e-book, I wasn't expecting this to be anything but teenage fluff to fill my time between classes. For the most part I wasn't wrong. It started out slow and full of teenage angst and romance, but the second half of the book picked up. Charli, the main character, started behaving more like an adult and making (some) better decisions. The storyline became more interesting. In the end, I sort of liked it. I cared about these fictional teenagers far more than others in recent YA novels. (Edward, Bella, Katniss). It's not going on my favorites shelf, but I'll probably read the second book.
