Dark Blood by Christine Feehan

4.0

I really enjoyed Zev and Branislava's story and the overall 3 part arc with Dimitri and Fen. I feel overall Branislava was very much like her sister in falling fast and hard for her other half and I very much enjoyed reading about Zev's entrance into the Carpathian world and how he manages to balance the wolf in him.

Much like many of Feehan's book, there is a repetitive nature to it that as an avid reader of her books you just kinda get used to.

The Carpathian language I don't mind, I actually enjoy it. The spells for me are a bit cringe worthy and I tend to skim them. They don't add much to the actual story line and do tend to feel like page fillers which is sad.

Overall, I enjoyed the book and their story and do feel like it's a good addition to the series.
