“The universe is brimming with stars and life, but there is a section of sky that is utterly dead and empty. They call it a cold spot, a supervoid, and they say it got that way ‘cause two parallel universes got close to touching. That’s us. That’s me and Dell. We coexist, parallel, but never touching.”

I liked this novel a lot! Stories about travel to alternate universes are one of my favorites and the author wrote such interesting and complex characters. Some of the twists were easy to guess but there were still quite a few places this book surprised me. While the MC of this book is bisexual and there is an endgame sapphic romance involved, this book is more focused on the plot as well as Cara’s relationship to her past as well as those around her. That being said I think this was a unique and enjoyable sci-fi book that I would recommend to those who like the idea of parallel worlds and how the smallest change can effect the trajectory of our lives.
