This is an excellent book. A terrifying coming of age story and a detailed portrait of what it is like to be a woman in the corporate workplace.
I loved that the narrator is anonymous and complex. I really related to a lot of what happens and a lot of her thoughts about being a woman and trying to do the right thing but also being scared and unsure of how to manage the pressures of it all.
The writing is poignant and thoughtful. I’ll be thinking of this book for a long time.
