It's simple (for me), I loved this book. Just One Night was the first book I read from this series and now that I've devoured all of them, this is definitely my fave. Angsty and emotional, but I was hopeful for a HEA that I'd be content with. And it did not disappoint.

I'll be honest, I didn't love Dallas at first. But my goodness, he is absolutely going through it with being a single father and grieving the loss of his wife. This will be a bigger thing in Willow and Dallas's story especially if he wants to move forward in his life and start new chapters.

Look, I love tropes and all of them worked for me; one-night stand, enemies-ish to lovers, and surprise pregnancy. Willow had every valid reason to be a bit hesitant about what would come next in this unexpected chapter of her life. And she takes a chance, uproots her life to figure out the whole co-parenting with Dallas.

Once you get past the one-night stand, I really liked the pacing of their relationship. Still quite a few moments of shaking my head at Dallas, but he's figuring it out as they go.

Yep, I loved this book to pieces and it's been a constant re-read!
