This was riveting in a calming way. I listened to the audio version, and I know that if I had to read a physical copy it would have voted me to tears but to listen to the audio was strangely soothing. It didn't make me feel anything positive or negative but it was an easy listen and interesting to see the rise of this family and be able to see the downfall coming. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it but I still kinda liked it.
