4.5 - I loved this! Xingyin was great, the plot was engaging and interesting, the slow development of romances and friendships really worked for me, the mythology and world building were great and it was just magical. Wasn't crazy about the lovers-to-enemies part but I'm crossing my fingers for their development in the next book.
One of my most anticipated releases of the year and it far surpassed my expectations, definitely recommend it and can't wait for the next book!
