This is definitely a intriguing retelling of the nutcracker. The plot is fast paced, there is always something happening to make the story move forward. And sometimes it's just plain smût. The story is written in the pov of the two sisters, they are very different characters and which makes it an varied experience .  I loved discovering this world and its magic.
