kenneth 's review for:
Babylon's Ashes
by James S.A. Corey
Nemesis Games / Babylon's Ashes read more like two halves of the same book than separate entries.
And of those halves, Babylon's Ashes moreso has the difficult role of being the gatekeeper to the end of the series. The shift from winding up and introducing The Expanse, to settling down and finishing what's been started.
It drags a little, but every part of it feels like something that cannot be missed. A necessary entry, but not the most engaging one.
