Reasonable Doubt: Volume 1 by Whitney G.

2.0

I am confused what to rate this book. The chemistry between Andrew and Aubrey was off the charts. He was cold and cruel but had a soft edge when he talked to Alyssa. Also, I thought Alyssa had a great and good personality. But Aubrey? I felt like she was like the usual girls Andrew hooked up with. Getting attached, wanting to stay over at his place and asking questions. She was such a big pushover. She gave in so easily every time Andrew appeased her. She should have made him grovel.

Also what was the reason she lied to Andrew while chatting with him as Alyssa? I was really expecting some kind of big reveal about her.

While I thought they had great chemistry, I just didn’t buy their ‘love’. Andrew was cold, I get it, but his random confession of love didn’t felt sincere. Why did he even love her? Because she was a great screw? Couldn’t he be more gentle and say nice things to prove how much he loved her?

I wished they had a more emotional bonding rather than physical. But otherwise, it was an enjoyable story.
