So, in general I liked this book. It's contemporary fiction with a hint of romance and a small fantasy element, but like realistic fantasy (if that was a thing...)
The book is about Alice, a girl who attends a super expensive school, and whose parents can't afford more than one more term there. She's a high-achiever academically and wants a well-paid job in the future. Then she starts randomly turning invisible and decides to make some money to pay her school fees, and to work with her academic rival Henry to make an app for her service. What starts with small tasks escalates, and Alice has to choose between what's ethical and the money required to keep her place in the school.
The invisibility plot was cool, never fully explained. I'm still confused about the ending but I know that it wasn't the whole point of the book anyway.
Alice was a very interesting protagonist. I did really like her personality.
Henry was also very interesting, like Alice all his actions were understandable given his situation and past. Their slow-burn romance... I would've left it out completely if I were the author, as it didn't change the story at all.
Other characters such as Chanel were not very developed but still important to the plot. Alice's aunt was probably the least developed character.
The pacing was very good.
Overall, a fun book with a few small things that disappointed me. 3.75⭐️
