“'Listen, I don’t have a clue what you see in this guy,” he says, “but you should try living with him. The man is moody as hell.”
“I am not moody—”
“Yeah, bro.” Kenji puts his utensils down. “You are moody. It’s always ‘Shut up, Kenji.’ ‘Go to sleep, Kenji.’ ‘No one wants to see you naked, Kenji.’ When I know for a fact that there are thousands of people who would love to see me naked—' “

Do I like the romance? Meh.
Do I think Juliette was kind of annoying at times? Yes.
Would this story be better if it focussed less on the romance and more on the world? Probably.
But do I keep reading it anyway because the writingstyle is just that great? Also yes.

Kenji is my hero. I love him. He is the real reason I keep reading.

In the words of Kenji

“ 'And you and Kent need to sort out your drama ASAP,” he adds, just as Sonya and Sara walk back into the room. “I don’t have the time, the energy, or the interest to deal with your problems. I like to mess with you from time to time because, well, let’s face it”—he shrugs—“the world is going to hell out there and I suppose if I’m going to be shot dead before I’m twenty-five, I’d at least like to remember what it’s like to laugh before I do. But that does not make me your clown or your babysitter. At the end of the day I do not give two shits about whether or not you and Kent are going steady. We have a million things to take care of down here, and less than none of them involve your love life' “
