Atlantiskompleksi by Eoin Colfer

2.0

I'm not sure what did I expect from this book. Not much, though, because... Artemis Fowl? Nice?! What the hell, Colfer, do you really have so hard time writing about arrogant (yet genius) and even mean character? XD You shouldn't. Its part - may I add even remarkable part - of his charm! He isn't as lovely if you change him to be an idiot (who could also be sweet in other conditions!)!!

Err, yeah, did I make my opinion clear enough? XD

However, I'll give 2 out of 5 stars. This is not because of Colfer's rather rambling writing style (to be honest, it annoyed me to death) nor because of other characters. I liked Foaly and Eleonor, that's it.

But I could still identify with Artemis' difficulties to some extent. And liked Eleanor. Turnball thinking of her was the best part of this book, not so 'humoristic' but I have a thing for twisted-minded creatures.

So, yes. Two stars, here you go XD
