Beautifully written but almost too polished. I wish it was a bit rougher and not so crystalline, all sharp angles and perfect edges.
Immense craft and care went into writing this but it reminds me of those pictures, autostereograms, where once you stare at it long enough, blurry at first, a three-dimensional image is revealed in its place.
I never could quite master the technique to fully appreciate the art and I think that’s what’s happened here.
Still enjoyed it, though.
