My Best Friend's Exorcism by Grady Hendrix
5.0
Yes, it reads fast. Yes, it’s pulpy and campy and simple.
But Hendrix has written a book that’s fun and simultaneously dark. The characters are so real and the narrator adds such a special layer to the story.
This delves in pop culture, demonology, and with it the power of friendship and family.
I loved Abby and her wittiness alongside her weaknesses.
Even Gretchen, that with all her demons included, fought.
And the whole cast of characters that are part of this cool, unique and gory tale.
