Although I love the genre in general, some YA makes me feel guiltily out of place while reading them. I Believe In a Thing Called Love happens to be one of those times. The story was toothache sweet and corny. Goo also expects us to root for the manically driven overachiever, Desi, who, if we're being honest, is clearly unhinged. One new twist was using the backdrop of Korean or "K" dramas. If I was down with subtitles, I check them out.
