Band of Bikers by Scott Zieher

3.0

Perusing the photography section at the used bookstore there were about 15 copies of this book on the shelf in a row, so I couldn't help but wonder what it was. Flipping through it and seeing snapshots and polaroids of motorcycles and bikers, I had to read the whole book.

A short 5-6 page introduction by the author at the beginning of the book tells about how he loved riffling through and collecting discarded trash-turned-treasures and how he came about this particular collection of photographs. That was it though, otherwise the remaining pages just feature one image per page.

I can't believe this collection of photographs were found discarded and forgotten. It's a great collection and tells such a story, even without any accompanying background information or even names. But even though, I would've loved loved loved having more insight into the stories behind the images.
