This was a great mystery read, twisty and surprising, while also well-infused with humorous bits. The characters were lovable yet flawed, and I especially liked Elizabeth with her wit, connections and determination. Overall, I appreciated how Osman portrayed his characters in their later years of life as being vital and valuable, especially as compared to how many other sources of media show the elderly as secondary characters that are past their prime and just waiting around to die.
