Oh my. Seriously couldn’t put this down. Jafar is married to her best friend, Jasmine. He is important in Manhattan. Ellie dislikes him, or that’s what she keeps telling herself. Over and over and over.
Constantly reminded that Jasmine is very giving and Ellie is the one gaining from their friendship, Ellie is too quiet and doesn’t want to fight and argue so let’s everyone walk all over her. Dru, her step sister is no better, doesn’t hide her dislike Ellie and of how she doesn’t take care of herself as she’s not slim and trim like them.
But the story takes me to places nobody needs to be, I feel so much for poor Ellie. And the cliffhanger at the end. This book has me on edge. What an ending. No spoilers for me, release day is almost here so make sure to grab your copy when it’s out.
Thank you Sarah Bale for entrusting me with an arc copy. I thoroughly enjoyed it, have hardly done anything today due to reading it.
