Adriana St Lucent and Prince Gluttony have been enemies for 10 years and are constantly in a battle to see who can best the other. Adriana is a journalist who often seeks to uncover what is occurring with Prince Gluttony and his court. Something is happening to the ice dragons that he wants to keep away from his public and she wants to uncover just what exactly the prince is keeping secret.
This story has some Cinderella elements, but instead of just one ball, the MCs see each other again and again. I found this to be enjoyable, especially in the context of gluttony of the royal vs the struggle of Adriana as a poorer commoner. If you liked Throne of The Fallen, you might enjoy this one too. I would say this was a 3 or 4 on the pepper scale - lots of spicy scenes and dialogue
