Lainey, Tyson, Summer, and Hannah all come from various places and backgrounds but become fast friends after connecting one night in their college residence hall. When tragedy strikes their senior year, they cope by making a promise to always be there for each other when one of them needs it.
Fast Forward 10 years and Hannah's relationship falls apart very close to the wedding date. When the friends converge to support her, it becomes clear that they are all at a bit of a crossroads in their lives, so they decide to take an extended vacation to reconnect with each other and hopefully learn what their next step will be in their own lives.
I loved the friendship connected and how they lean on each other and navigate the typical messiness of a long-term relationships. I personally didn't need the romance aspect, but it didn't annoy me too much as it was really only a major plot point toward the end.
