The Hollow by Jessica Verday

And I'm done.

Drivel.

I was mildly interested.
There was a mystery of how her friend died and the second diary, cool - following along.
Guy who keeps being off/on - fine. (BTW authors, a wishy-washy guy isn't mysterious. It's annoying. Mysterious isn't a disappearing act.)
Major plot threads/red herrings where it started to get interesting but the plot didn't follow - ok sure, there's a couple other books. Maybe they'll be addressed there.
Weird random characters that are set in their personalities but change based on whatever the author needs them to be - ok, starting to lose me here...

Reading ahead to hear that the main character kills herself over a guy? Uh, not even Twilight does that. :/ (really losing me here. Staying in it to finish since I'm 80%...)

but...

You lost me over the supposedly second leg of the psudo love triangle the author was setting up - Ben Bennett? Really? Benjamin Bennett. As a creator of worlds, the god of all ye shall write and you can't come up with a better bloody name?

Bye.
