I’m rereading Percy Jackson as part of a personal revisiting project for books I loved growing up. I wasn’t sure how I would feel returning to a novel that focuses on middle schoolers—I first read this book when I was under 10, so 12 seemed impossibly mature—but to my delight, it held up and is as good as I remembered.
