Good Wives
by Louisa May Alcott
This book had me crying on the train for real. So heart warming and devastating, and a really lovely look at the transition from childhood to adulthood and how everyone does it at different paces. My impression from clips of the various films was that Jo and Amy don’t get on because of the Laurie stuff but that isn’t true at all and I loved it. Jo’s romance was a bit rushed which annoyed me, as was the final 10%, but I’m excited to keep reading the next two.
