A whirlwind of action, fantasy, and good vs evil - this book was exactly what I needed to get me out of a reading rut. Following a group of Earth Garde, old and new, while also remaining chock full of cameos by some of our favourite characters from the original Lorien Legacies series, I could not put this book down.
Although it had been so long since I finished the I am number four series (I had to Look up the book summaries on Wikipedia so I could catch up), this book throws you right in to the new world after the Mogadorian attack. With a diverse and really likeable cast, and packed full of action and adventure, I am so excited to see the new directions this series will take.
Although I'm hoping for my favourite Lorics to have large cameos in the coming books, I must say I love this new group, and cannot wait to explore these characters more.
Perfect for fans of the I Am Number Four Series, or for X-men enthusiasts, I definitely recommend this action-packed read (although the context of having read the I Am Number Four series will definitely be important). It read a lot like an action movie, and I found myself thinking about it a lot, even after I finished it. It was just an overall really exciting read, and i cannot wait for the next one!
