Salt by L.A. Ferro

5.0

The only reason this book took 3 days is because I was on vacation. And even then I didn’t want to be on a river, I wanted to be reading this book.

L. A. Ferro knows how to write a romantic, forbidden suspense. Cameron and Everett were so well written with their angst, forbidden want, and borderline obsession. Cam absolutely was ferocious in going after what she wanted and poor Everett never stood a chance.

The story and the suspense in it kept me hooked. I needed to know what was going on and what the secrets were. The side characters were enjoyable too. And honestly I really hope this isn’t the last of them we get to meet.

The back and forth angst was amazing. You get to feel the feels and when the spice happens, it’s glorious. You can feel the struggle with Everett but everything he does is because of love. No matter the angle.

Essentially this is a book you need to read if you love forbidden, age gap, a tad of suspense and dad’s best friend. It checks a lot of boxes and o cannot wait/hope for more.
