I actually liked the first two parts of this book and thought it was pretty spoopy. It feels like he didn't know how to finish the story though. He couldn't explain things that he was constantly drawing attention to. After finishing it and reading the afterward where he tries to explain why he felt it was okay for him to write about indigenous culture and history made me feel icky.
