We Do This 'Til We Free Us: Abolitionist Organizing and Transforming Justice by Mariame Kaba

5.0

If you consider yourself an abolitionist or want to learn more about the roots, ideas, and inspiring future of what abolitionists are fighting for, you must read this book. This was the last book I read in 2021 and it was the perfect way to end the year. It challenged me, gave me lots of questions to reflect on, and helped me see the possibilities of what our communities could look like if we shifted to a model of community care and accountability. This book is fantastic and you won't regret reading it. Highly recommend!
