Slowness by Milan Kundera

This is a good time!
If my life was not so busy, I could easily read this in a single sitting. This is a philosophy book tied under the guise of a loose plot involving two romantic entanglements. One of them is from the 1700s and the other is from the present day. It is told by the author as a narrator, who seems to be able to witness these things from the château, which is their shared location.
This is my first Kundera, and I find his prose elegant. This is very easy to read and rather funny. I was not a huge fan of the modern day romantic encounter, which got a little ridiculous and the people fairly detestable, but besides that this is a pretty fun read!
