“i wanted epic love, the kind that’s reserved for the movies.”
~ ♡ 1.5/5
this book felt more autobiographical than it did a romance novel, and although i would have potentially been able to vibe with that. there was political views that popped up twice, that don’t align with mine and it just put me off but i kept going.
the writing was so bland and boring, and then the ending was so rushed. it was all over the place i could have gotten whiplash.
the plot sounded so intriguing i genuinely thought i’d love it. but turns out i hated it. so, i wouldn’t recommend this at all actually.
