I originally went into this blind, and the friends I have forced to read it have done the same. Of course, feel free to check for any triggers and proceed from there.
Such a roller coaster of emotions. I finished this book last year and read it again only to piece it all back together. JT always knows how to pull the rug out from under your feet so sneakily (in the best way). When I think I know where things are headed, I’m never right.
What I loved most about the story is how it plays with trust, perception, and the way grief and hope can twist together in unexpected ways. It’s emotional, raw, and at times unsettling (again in the best way.)
I feel like my true stamp of approval is when a book makes me bawl like a baby and yet still want to read it again.
