Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough

Okay, YES! This book had be going in all sorts of places. And Minus two chapter during a super late night, I was hooked pretty much the whole time. You constantly got more and more information that just threw you in all sorts of directions. And Even though I figured some things out I was still at the end of the book going. WHAT!? In the best of ways.
This book though, This book really did something to me. Like it was GOOD! It's told in multiple perspective and it jumps between two different time frames. It's not a long book, but I savored the reading experience. And found myself having to stop every so often just to contemplate possible motives and outcomes for different things.
Spoiler Alert:
So the main thing I saw coming right off the bat was the sinister nature of "Adele". Quickly the Author backed that thought up with information that she gave of Adele and things that were going down. Admittedly I was thrown off by some of Adele's thoughts on Louise and started to question her Motives. And as the book went on, my questions only INCREASED.
A few times I suspected David but that never really lasted very long. And I even questioned if Louise would have an evil play in the ending of the book. As if somehow she'd become obsessed over David and do some stupid s**t.
Towards the very end, after Adele gave Louise the hint on how to control her "powers" I was for SURE thinking that Louise and Adele would have some outta body duel of some sort. Little did I know that was kind of what happened... But not at all. I guess I didn't think that they could swap bodies.
I WILL admit that I was hoping that Louise would have somehow survived, and vacated the body before the killing "blow". But the ACTUAL ending got me even MORE than a Louise comeback. Like seriously, I was not expecting ROB to be the mastermind behind all of this.
And to think that Adele was actually innocent in all of this, is was really tripped me up. Like I can't help but wonder what Davids life would have been like if he had actually been with Adele, the girl he loved. They would have been so happy.
Now it does bug me, how quickly Rob's love for Adele just vanished. But considering his behavior afterward I guess it's pretty darn clear that he was seriously messed up. After all he planning out all this crap beautifully. And now that I've finished the book and I think back to some of "Adele's" Thoughts it's interesting to think of some of the foreshadowing that was going on.
Like why would she want Louise to get fit, and learn how to deal with her "power", and quit smoking and all that junk if she still wanted to be with David. And why would she push David away and into Louise's arms if she was trying to "fix" her marriage. But it makes so much sense now.
Five stars, this book really got me thinking! Highly recommended!
