A book of 2 halves.  I didn't have a clue what was going on for the 1st half of the book.  It was confusing, too many characters to keep track of and slow, lacking direction.
The 2nd half was the better half.  The 2 story lines began to come together and I knew how all the characters fitted together plus the pace picked up.  I thoroughly enjoyed the last half of the book
