‘Society of Lies’ was a total snooze fest and honestly put me in my first reading slump in years. The characters weren’t well-developed. The pacing was slow. The storyline was told from multiple points of view from multiple points in time which really muddled everything together and I had to keep flipping back and forth to figure out whose perspective I was reading. I didn’t even care about who did what towards the end of this book, I was just focused on finishing, so that I could move on to the next.
