ArchEnemy by Frank Beddor

4.0

A decent ending to the trilogy. Arch, the ruler of the neighboring kingdom, Borderlands, declares himself ruler of Wonderland, as the the the ex-Queen Redd and Queen Alyss finds themselves rapidly loosing their powers of imagination.

To make matters worse, Alyss, after finding herself dangerously exposed at an anti-imagination rally lead by the Clubs, flees to Earth for safety. There, her and the Mad Hatter's daughter Molly are trapped as the Pool of Tears as dried up, leaving them without the means to make it back to Wonderland....

The Oracles of Wonderland are busying positioning Redd as the EverQueen, promising to give her control of the Heart Crystal forever, and give her the rule of Wonderland with Black Imagination. With Alyss trapped on Earth, there may not be anyway to stop her.

My biggest complaint about the book? It was too short, and thus, too rushed. And there wasn't enough of the Cheshire Cat. He is such a lovely assassin.
