The Murder After the Night Before by Katy Brent

3.25

I really enjoyed this. It was a quick, easy read. There were some twists which I enjoyed and the plot was fast moving. It dealt with some interesting topics like grief and alcohol which I usually find depressing but it worked in this book. A lot of adrenaline. I feel like some the murder story didn’t add up,
for example why did they just believe Molly without any evidence at the end?
However, overall it was a good, easy to read murder mystery. It actually scared me quite a bit too! I did however find it kind of hard to believe the reason why Lulu was killed - I felt that could have been delved into more, it was kind of random. And the feminist parts felt kind of forced and didn’t add anything to the story - it was already feminist with the characters and how their lives were and how they acted. The characters all seemed full and like real people.

I guessed some of the twists, so that either means that I am getting smarter or the twists were east to guess!
