I just listened to this entire audiobook almost in 1 sitting, with only a brief interruption to take a shower. The book is over 500 pages long, but because free verse format significantly shortens reading time, the recording is only 4.5 hours.
I definitely was not expecting to be as drawn in as I was, but Crank is incredibly engaging and although at first I was a little put off by the narrator's almost Valley-Girlish voice (despite being a born and bred Valley Girl myself), after a while I appreciated it. The narrator really sounded like a modern teen girl instead of an adult pretending to be a teenager.
And now, I am off to see if my library has Glass.
