Kate thought as a 6ft tall woman, perhaps she would be a bit less of a commodity on Not-Hoth. However it seems everyone here is making fun of her as well. The worst of all is Harrec who is simply RELENTLESS and ALWAYS AROUND. Harrec, of course, is misguidedly attempting to flirt with her. After chatting with friends he devises a plan to win Kate's heart, but things don't go exactly as planned...

I really loved the relationship dynamic here. Kate is strong and insecure, but willing to stand up for herself. Harrec is sweet and silly and simply misguided. I loved the way that they fell for one another and the fact that they weren't simply forced together by resonance and the plot twist at the end had me absolutely reeling.

Some of the silly bits of this were a bit much for me I will admit. Like, why was Kate thirsting after Harrec as early on as she was? I also don't really like the whole v*rgin//let me teach you dynamic. It's just not for me!

I always recommend these books as palate cleansers. They're just a fun time!
