Lucky: A Novel by Kristina Parro

reflective slow-paced

1.0

This was rough. It had potential to be an entertaining and cool story. However, the writing was like listening to someone tripping on shrooms trying to explain the secrets of the universe.

I think it was trying to be too many things. It was a poorly executed attempt to connect too many unrelated myths, phenomena, scientific principles, and stories.

The story parts did not make sense chronologically as there were many timeline errors and contradictions.

I wish this would have been workshopped and edited. There were too many details that were wrong or inaccurate, too many grammatical errors (and I know very little in concerns to grammar and even I noticed these) , spelling inconsistencies, and forced lyric dropping (I feel as if some copyright laws may have been broken?)  that I just couldn’t buy into the story itself.

I do feel like more time and more eyes in this may have made the story enjoyable.
