I was drawn by the beautiful artwork on the cover and people from all walks of life living on a kibbutz. The author spent a huge portion of the book developing Adam's character and just kicked him to the curb at the end. There were some interesting and insightful characters and sub-plots, but I do not care for her irreverent writing.
