"Goodness is something chosen. When a man cannot choose he ceases to be a man."
Our humble narrator leads us along on a disturbing and violent journey that sucks him through a similarly disturbing and violent rehabilitation. I did enjoy Alex's voice and slang despite his many many many flaws. This was a wild ride. I am probably going to be reflecting on its modern day relevance for a bit.
Graphic: Pedophilia, Rape, Sexual violence, Torture, Violence, War
Minor: Animal cruelty, Animal death
