La era de huesos
by Samantha Shannon
The Bone Season is a fascinating novel that kept me hooked from start to finish. Samantha Shannon has created a complex and unique universe, full of intriguing details that immerse you in a story filled with mystery and excitement. However, I must admit that the worldbuilding, though impressive in its breadth and depth, was sometimes a bit difficult to follow. There are so many new elements and terms that I found myself rereading certain parts to fully grasp the setting in which the plot unfolds.
Regarding the characters, I loved the development of the protagonists, but I would have liked their relationship to be more coherent. The evolution of the relationship between Paige and Warden, the two main characters, feels somewhat rushed. Paige goes from deeply distrusting Warden, even hating him, to kissing him after discovering that he is a "rebel." This change in her attitude, though exciting, seemed a bit abrupt. I would have preferred the author to take more time to delve into their relationship, allowing their connection to develop in a more natural and believable way.
Despite this, The Bone Season remains a highly recommended read. The plot is full of surprising twists and moments of tension that keep you on the edge of your seat, and the ending leaves you eager to know what will happen in the next installment. While there are some aspects that could have been developed differently, the book as a whole is a very solid and entertaining work that will delight fans of fantasy and science fiction.
