Things I liked:
  • easy to read
  • straightforward writing style
  • characters with enjoyable personalities

  • cute romance(I swung my feet a few times)
  • insta love
  • fluff

things I didn't like:
  • the names: Oakley, Octavia 
  • no angst :(
  • didn't keep my attention (took me weeks to finish this 300 page book)

I don't know if authors share inspiration, but I'm reading another hockey romance series along with this one, and fount too many similarities with these two series and it just bugs me so much because sometimes I can't tell these two series' apart. with the exception that I do like the other author's writing and characters better.
