Kiss by Jacqueline Wilson
2.0
Sadly I had to DNF this book at page 109, I appreciate what Jacqueline Wilson was doing with giving us a gay main character and making the book about him finding himself but I think it could have been done better
The worst part for me is that I used to love this book, it was the first book with an LGBT+ main character that I remember reading but looking back on it now, I find it filled with stereotypes that could easily be avoided, Sylvie not being very supportive or understanding of Carl and Miranda being the only redeeming character
