The Vegetarian by Han Kang

3.0

Wow. I don’t even know where to begin. I feel like ‘The Vegetarian’ brought in so many interesting and intersecting layers of femininity, sexuality, one’s primitive desires, and social isolation and ostracism, which blended together in a very provocative way. I just wished I had enjoyed reading it more. I found myself more enamored with the ideas the book presented rather than my actual experience digesting them.
