Notes
I recently read Rebecca for a book club I attend and did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did! I found it extremely interesting how throughout the entirety of the novel the reader never learns what the name of the heroine is, I have never read a book written quite like it. I thought the plot was incredible as you watch the heroine slowly unravel the mysteries surrounding the death of Maxim de Winters first wife, Rebecca, and see her slowly become consumed by jealously and paranoia.
“I can fight the living, but I cannot fight the dead.”
Graphic: Death, Toxic relationship, and Murder
Moderate: Cancer and Suicide
Minor: Incest and Terminal illness
